Summus Laser Therapy

Summus Laser Therapy is an effective treatment technique for a variety of shoulder injuries including rotator cuff tendonitis, sprains/strains, bursitis, and arthritis. This technique increases circulation to the injured area and reduces stiffness, swelling, inflammation, and pain. Summus Laser Therapy is offered by registered practitioners at EHP clinic who work synergistically with other treatment modalities to conure the specific results our patient’s desire.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy for shoulder injuries including rotator cuff tendonitis is effective at accelerating tissue repair, reducing pain, and improving range of motion. Shockwave therapy is provided at EHP clinic and contributes to the overall rehabilitation of shoulder injuries.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is effective at improving shoulder pain and function, especially when in conjunction with other therapies including personal/strength training. All acupuncture practitioners at EHP Clinic have completed over 1000 hours of training and education in acupuncture and their therapeutic acupuncture treatment contributes to the holistic healing of our patients.

Active Release Technique® (ART®)

ART® is a soft tissue technique that is effective at treating a plethora of shoulder injuries involving the muscles, ligaments, and nerves. EHP Clinic consists of practitioners certified in ART® to facilitate healthier soft tissue by removing adhesions and helping to regain shoulder function.

Function Range Conditioning® (FRC®)

FRC® provided by practitioners at EHP health clinic adds to the complete delivery of care with the goal of alleviating injuries sustained to the shoulder. FRC promotes mobility, joint strength, and body control and contributes to the rehabilitation process while simultaneously decreasing the risk of injury in the future.

Personal Training/Strength Training

To further augment the rehabilitation process, exercises are prescribed to our patients, and certified personal trainers are available to aid in this process. Increasing muscular strength and joint integrity will help reduce the incidence of injury in the future. Weakness is an underlying cause to many shoulder injuries; therefore, it is important to build and maintain shoulder strength through resistance training.
